Show Notes
Ayn Rand! We discuss the life and works of Ayn Rand, whose novels Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead are the foundation base of Objectivism. The followers of Objectivism are called Objectivist and often have a faith based religious belief in free market capitalism. This belief leads them to support political and economic solutions that are less than ideal. All this and discussions of Sunshine Cleaning, Inglorious Basterds and bear attacks!

The character type that Tor was trying to think of during the show is Mary Sue. It is likely going too far to suggest that The Fountainhead's Howard Roark is a Mary Sue, however, the similarities to Mary Sue provide another angle to question the concepts of Objectivism.
